Population Served
Children, adolescents, and adults with a primary diagnosis of developmental disability and may use adaptive equipment for mobility. Medically related issues such as seizures, down syndrome, and others that Safeway Residential LLC has the resources to manage. Individuals that display challenging behaviors that can be safely managed by interventions approved by the local Human Rights Committee.
This service provides personalized support and assistance within the comfort and familiarity of their own home. This state-regulated program provides services designed to support individuals in increasing their independence, developing life skills, and attaining personal goals. Support may include assistance with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and medication management. Additionally, trained caregivers provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to promote overall well-being. Supportive In-Home Services are tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, empowering them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives within their community.
Services Include:
1. Training in or engagement and interaction with functional skills
2. Specialized supervision related to ensure individual's health and safety
3. Assistance with personal care
4. Assistance with activities of daily living (Adls)
5. Assistance with the use of community resources
6.Monitoring the individual's health, nutrition, and physical condition
7. Appropriate behavior
1. Individuals may be ambulatory or require a wheelchair for community travel, walker, cane, or crutches for ambulating.
2. Vision or hearing impaired.
3. Medicaid Eligibility is preferred.
4. A primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities (ID) documented prior to the 18th birthday.
5. Children, adolescents, men and women are accepted.
6. The individual does not have violent and intrusive behaviors that jeopardize the safety of self and/or staff.
7. Does not have a communicable form of a disease.
8. May have a secondary diagnosis of mental health or medically related needs.
9. The individual and/or his authorized representative desires to receive services from Safeway Residential LLC.
1. Individuals with a history of sexual offenses.
2. Individuals involved in recent fire-related incidents.
3. Individuals struggling with unresolved substance abuse issues.
4. Individuals who do not meet the program's eligibility criteria.
5. Individuals with active thoughts of homicide or suicide.
6. Individuals diagnosed with a communicable disease.
7. Individuals whose behavior poses a risk of injury or harm to others.
